GiraffeZone

The site that is for Giraffes by Giraffes

This is the gathering place of human Giraffes with stories about everyday people
that "Stick their necks out" to help themselves, their children and their friends
in the fight for equality and fairness.
Giraffes stand up for themselves and don't allow people to walk over them.
The Giraffe stands out in a crowd. They are the leaders.

This site deals closely on the local, school and home level of life. If we all just pay attention to life around us; How something or someone could be affecting our children and our neighbors' children. Don't turn our backs on the part of the community that we can't see, meaning the one that is a half mile away that is deluged with drugs and criminals, because if it is left alone it will grow like a fungus and infect our area sooner than we could ever imagine.

What You Allow, You Encourage.

Simply stated: If you are not part of the solution you are contributing to the problem. If you allow the drug dealers to conduct their business in your community then you are encouraging them to continue to bring undesirables onto the streets where your children play.

Do something for yourself, your children and your children's friends and stop the problem before it becomes a major issue. It’s easy to band together with the community after a neighbor or someone is directly affected by undesirables taking over your community. It's hard to be the kind of person that gets the people to realize that the path that the neighborhood is going is leading to the destruction of the way of life that we hold so closely; that we are sheltering ourselves, our families from reality by closing the blinds on our windows to not let reality ruin our fairy tale existence's.

The territory of real people who stick their necks out for the common good. Home of the non-profit Giraffe heroes project.
This is the next level of what we deal with here.
